Computed Timing

  1. Ensure ignition is OFF. Wait 10 seconds then activate KEY ON ENGINE RUNNING (KOER) SELF-TEST. For KOER SELF-TEST see G - TESTS W/ CODES article in this section. Start engine and check computed timing after the last service code has been displayed.
  2. The timing will remain fixed for 2 minutes unless SELF-TEST is deactivated. Computed timing is equal to the base timing plus 17-23 degrees BTDC. If computed timing is not within specifications, see G - TESTS W/ CODES article in this section.
