TFI-IV Closed Bowl Stator Check

  1. Separate wiring harness connector from distributor. Measure resistance between stator connector terminals No. 1 and 5. Resistance between terminals No. 1 and 5 should be less than 5 ohms. See Fig 1 .
  2. Measure resistance between stator connector terminal No. 2 and ground. Measure resistance between stator connector terminal No. 6 and ground. Resistance should be less than one ohm in both cases.
