Knock Sensor Test (2.2L Probe Turbo)

Disconnect knock control sensor connector. Knock sensor is located on right side of engine, next to oil filter. Using DVOM with scale set to AC volts, measure AC voltage between KS wire on sensor and ground. Using a 4 oz. hammer tap on engine lifting eye lightly. Voltage reading should be approximately .03 volts. If below specification, replace knock sensor.
