Preliminary Checks

Check that the following systems and components are in good condition and operating properly before diagnosing problems in fuel injection system:

• Battery condition
• State of tune
• Fuel delivery system
• All wiring and vacuum connections
• Air cleaner and ducting
• Cooling system
