Perform all steps in BASIC TESTING article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. If no fault is found while performing BASIC TESTING, proceed with TESTS W/ CODES. If no service code or only pass codes are found during self-diagnostics, proceed to TESTS W/O CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section for diagnosis by symptoms.
