Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Service and Repair

The Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) main power relay is located in the Integrated Relay Control Module (IRCM) and is not serviceable separately.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Locate IRCM in the engine compartment on the firewall and disconnect electrical harness connector.
3. Remove the module attaching screws from the bracket and remove the IRCM.


INSTALLATION

1. Install the IRCM screws and tighten to 24-35 in lb (3-4 Nm).
2. Connect the electrical harness to the IRCM.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
