Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL

Electronic Control Assembly Replacement:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the push pin retainers from both inner kick panels and remove the panels from the vehicle.

Electronic Control Assembly Replacement:

3. Remove the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) mounting bolts, then remove the ECA from the console.

Electronic Control Assembly Replacement:

4. Remove the attaching bolt from the module harness connector, then disconnect the harness connector and remove the ECA from the vehicle.



INSTALLATION

1. Connect the harness to the ECA, then install the connector mounting bolt.
2. Place the ECA in its mounting position in the console and install the retaining bolts.
3. Install the inner kick panels and retaining pins.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
