Master Switch

  1. Remove switch from vehicle and test with a self-powered test light or ohmmeter. With switch in NEUTRAL position, there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, and between 10 and 11. See Fig 1 .
  2. With lock-out switch button depressed into its detent position, there should be no continuity between terminal No. 11 and any other terminal.
  3. With all switches in "close" position, there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11, and between terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9.
  4. With all switches in "open" position, there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, and between terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11.
  5. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
