Test Re: Re8

  1. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Disconnect control module connector No. 1, dome/map light connector and CPU connector from interior fuse panel. Remove right and left foot lamp bulbs.
  2. Check resistance in Green wire between control module connector No. 1 and each of following:
    • Dome/map light connector.
    • Each foot lamp bulb connector.
    • Pin "F" of CPU connector at interior fuse panel.

    If resistance is less than 5 ohms between all connectors, replace control module. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair Green wire.

  3. Check resistance in Green wire between connector No. 1 and chassis ground. If resistance is greater than 10,000 ohms, replace control module. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair Green wire.
