Memory Seat System

- There is no indication whether memory seat function is enabled or disabled. To ensure memory feature is disabled, enter permanent entry code. Press and hold keypad button 7/8. Press and release keypad button 5/6. Release button 7/8. Move seat to 3rd memory position, using memory seat switch. Press UNLOCK button on transmitter. If seat moves to programmed position, system is okay. If seat does not move to programmed position, go to next step.
- To enable memory seat, repeat step 1). Disconnect module connector J1. Disconnect memory seat switch connector. Check continuity of Brown/Light Green wire between pin No. 8 of connector J1 and memory seat switch connector. Check continuity of Black/Orange wire between pin No. 21 of connector J1 and memory seat switch connector. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair open in either Brown/Light Green or Black/Orange wire.
- Disconnect module connector J1. Disconnect memory seat switch connector. Momentarily jumper between pin No. 14 and pins No. 8, and 21. Measure voltage at Brown/Light Green and Black/Orange wires. If reading is 10 volts or greater, replace control module. If reading is less than 10 volts, repair short in Brown/Light Green or Black/Orange wire.
