Remote Transmitter

To program (or re-program) transmitter(s) into the remote/keyless entry module, perform the following steps:
- Turn ignition to RUN or ACC position. Remove right quarter panel interior trim panel. Remove sub-woofer speaker (if equipped). Locate program connector. Using a jumper wire, momentarily short the terminals of the programming connector located in right rear quarter panel area. See Fig 1. All doors should lock then unlock to confirm programming mode has been entered.
- Press any button on transmitter. All doors should lock then unlock, to verify that transmitter has been programmed.
- Repeat step 2 for additional remote transmitters (up to 4 maximum). Turn ignition OFF. All doors should lock then unlock to confirm end of programming mode. Check operation of remote transmitters.
NOTE:
If doors do not respond, press button again (3 times maximum) with same transmitter. If doors still won't lock, go to TROUBLE SHOOTING .
