Pinpoint Test D - Anti-Theft System Does Not Operate Using Remote Transmitter
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect Black control module connector and 20-pin CPU connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance of Yellow/Red wire between control module connector and 20-pin connector. Measure resistance of Yellow/Red wire between control module connector and ground.
- Resistance between control module connector and CPU should be less than 5 ohms. Resistance between control module connector and ground should be more than 10,000 ohms. If resistance is correct, replace keyless entry module. If resistance is not correct, repair Yellow/Red wire.
