One Mirror Inoperative

  1. Perform appropriate mirror switch component testing. See MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH  . Replace switch if necessary. If mirror switch is okay, disconnect harness connectors from mirror control switch and inoperative mirror.
  2. Check continuity of all wires between control switch and inoperative mirror. Repair any open wires. Check for short to ground on inoperative mirror motor circuits. Repair as necessary. If all wires between mirror switch and inoperative mirror are okay, replace mirror motor.
