Diagnostic Command

  1. This test checks output circuitry by activating selected device. Hook-up New Generation Star (NGS) scan tester. See EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP  . Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Rotate dial on scan tester to DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK menu, and press trigger to select and advance to next screen. Highlight and select module you wish to command action from.
  3. Highlight and select menu item ACTIVE/COMMAND MODES. Highlight and select command. Press trigger to activate command.
