Module Version Identification

  1. To identify the version level of a module, hook-up New Generation Star (NGS) scan tester. See EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP  . Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Rotate dial on scan tester to DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK menu, and press trigger to select and advance to next screen. Highlight and select module you wish to receive information from.
  3. Highlight and select MODULE IDENTIFICATION. Module version information will be displayed.
