One-Touch Down Feature Inoperative

  1. Check One-Touch Down Module Circuits

Turn ignition off. Access and disconnect 16-pin master window switch connector. Locate and disconnect 5-pin one-touch module connector. Measure resistance of Green, Red/Black and Black/White wires between master window switch connector and one-touch module connector. If resistances are less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance of any wire is greater than 5 ohms, repair wire in question.
  2. Check One-Touch Down Module Ground Circuit

Measure resistance between one-touch down module 5-pin connector Black wire terminal and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire between one-touch module 5-pin connector and ground.
  3. Check Left Front Window Motor Operation

Perform power window motor test. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTING. If left front power window motor is faulty, replace left front power window motor. If left front power window motor is okay, go to next step.
  4. Check Left Front Power Window Motor Circuits

Disconnect left front power window motor connector. Measure resistance of Red/Green and Red/Black wires between one-touch module 5-pin connector and left front power window motor connector. If resistances are less than 5 ohms, replace one-touch down module. If resistance of either wire is greater than 5 ohms, repair wire in question.
