Description & Operation
Power window system consists of 2 control switches, a lock switch, and 2 motor and drive assemblies. The master switch on driver's door armrest controls driver's door window and passenger's door window.
The master switch has a one-touch down feature which allows driver to fully open driver's or passenger's window by firmly pressing master switch and then releasing. When the window is fully open, the switch will release.
Power windows are regulated by a cable. See Fig 1 . The cable connects an electric, motor-driven regulator to a slider bracket. When power window switch is operated, cable moves slider bracket up and down.
