Auto-Lock Does Not Operate Properly

- Check message center DRIVER SETTINGS menu to verify auto-lock is not turned OFF. If auto-lock is turned ON, go to next step. If auto-lock is turned OFF, turn auto-lock ON through message center, then retest system.
- Using NGS tester, perform driver's door module SELF-TEST. If DTCs U1041, U1059, U1135 or U1199 are not retrieved, go to next step. If DTCs U1041, U1059, U1135 or U1199 are retrieved, go to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to diagnose network concern.
- Using NGS tester, access driver's door module active command DOOR LOCK CONTROL. Trigger LOCK on. Trigger UNLOCK on. If doors lock and unlock, replace driver's door module, then retest system. If doors do not lock and unlock, go to DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE - POWER article.
