Inspection & Verification: Electrical

- Battery
- Blown Fuse: 30A DOOR LOCK; 10A ROOM; 15A RADIO
- Circuitry Open/Shorted
- Damaged Door Lock Actuator
- Damaged Trunk Release Solenoid (Sedan)
- Damaged Liftgate Actuator
- Low Remote Transmitter Battery
Inspect wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage. If concern is not visually evident, use New Generation Star (NGS) Tester (007-00500), and retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) following manufacturer's instructions. If no DTCs are present, go to SYSTEM TESTS SYMPTOM INDEX TABLE. If DTCs are present, see TROUBLE CODE INDEX TABLE.
NOTE:
Remote Anti-Theft Personality (RAP) module connector C1 may also be referred to as connector C405. RAP module connector C2 may also be referred to as connector C404.
