DTC B2425: Remote Keyless Entry Out Of Synchronization
- Resynchronize Remote Transmitter - Press any button on inoperative remote entry transmitter four times consecutively. If remote transmitter still does not operate properly, go to next step. If remote transmitter now operates properly, system is okay at this time. Clear DTCs and retest system operation.
- Check For A Second Remote Transmitter - Check to see if all other remote transmitters operate properly. If all other remote transmitters operate properly, go to next step. If all other remote transmitters do not operate properly, go to step 4).
- Resynchronize Inoperative Remote Transmitter Using Second Remote Transmitter - Press any button on any operating remote transmitters. Within 30 seconds of pressing any button on any operating remote transmitter, press a button on inoperative remote transmitter. Check to see if inoperative remote transmitter now operates properly. If inoperative remote transmitter still does not operate properly, go to next step. if inoperative remote transmitter now operates properly, clear DTCs and retest system operation.
- Program Inoperative Remote Transmitter - Reprogram inoperative remote transmitter(s). See REMOTE TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. If inoperative remote transmitter(s) still do not operate properly, perform TEST A : ALL DOOR LOCKS ARE INOPERATIVE - DRIVER DOOR ONLY REMOTE SYSTEM under SYSTEM TESTING. If inoperative remote transmitter(s) now operate properly, inform customer that any additional remote transmitters not available during reprogram will not operate with vehicle. All remote transmitters must be programmed at the same time. Clear DTCs and retest system operation.
