Trouble Shooting

Verify customer concern by operating windows to duplicate condition. Ensure battery is fully charged. Ensure windows are properly aligned. Check for blown fuses, faulty relays, open or shorted supply circuit, loose or corroded connectors, and poor ground connections. Check for faulty Generic Electronic Module (GEM), faulty motor and binding tracks or regulator mechanism. Check master window control switch. See MASTER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If problem is not found, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
