Upper Intake Manifold: Installation

Use NEW gaskets. Tighten upper intake manifold bolts in reverse removal sequence. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.

To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten upper intake manifold bolts in sequence and to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .

Use NEW gaskets. Tighten upper intake manifold evenly starting in center, working outward. Tighten in 2 steps to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.

Place NEW gasket on lower intake manifold locating pins. Install upper intake manifold and tighten bolts in sequence to specification. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.

Place NEW gasket on lower intake manifold. Install upper intake manifold and tighten bolts in sequence to specification. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
