Driver's Seat Module: Notes

WARNING:
To avoid accidental deployment and possible personal injury, backup power supply must be depleted before repairing or replacing any air bag restraint system components. Disconnect negative battery cable and, if equipped, auxiliary power supplies. Wait one minute for backup power supply energy to deplete.
CAUTION:
It is necessary to upload module configuration of Driver's Seat Module to New Generation STAR (NGS) tester, or equivalent scan tool, prior to module replacement. After new module is installed, download configuration to new module.
