Restraint Control Module: Installation

To install RCM, reverse removal procedure. Tighten RCM bracket retaining bolts to 9 ft lbs. (12 N.m). Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. Check AIR BAG warning light for proper system function.
