Econoline (Transmitter With Icons)
- Turn ignition switch from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds ending in RUN position. If RKE module has entered program mode, all doors will lock and unlock.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on a remote transmitter. Door locks should lock and unlock to verify remote transmitter has been programmed. Repeat this step for all remote transmitters to be programmed.
- If door locks do not respond for any remote transmitter, wait several seconds. Press button again. If door locks still do not respond, go to REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - ECONOLINE article under ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
- Turn ignition off or wait 20 seconds after step 2) to exit program mode. Doors should lock and unlock again to confirm program exit. Test remote transmitter operation.
NOTE:
After first remote transmitter is programmed, all other remote transmitters will be erased from memory. All remote transmitters must be programmed at the same time. Up to 4 transmitters may be programmed at one time.
