Remote Keyless Entry Systems: Programming: Keypad
NOTE:
Receiver assembly is factory programmed with a permanent 5-digit entry code. Permanent entry code is located on owner's wallet card in glove compartment, can be accessed using scan tool from RAP KEYCODE PID and is attached to receiver assembly housing.
To program a temporary access code, enter 5-digit permanent entry code into keypad. Within 5 seconds, press 1/2 button. Within 5 seconds, enter 5-digit code without exceeding 5 seconds between each button pressed.
To enable or disable autolock using ignition switch, close all doors. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Within 30 seconds, perform the following:
- Turn ignition switch from OFF to RUN position.
- Press power door lock UNLOCK button 3 times.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position.
- Press power door lock UNLOCK button 3 times.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
RAP module should chirp horn once to signal enable/disable mode. Press power door lock UNLOCK button once. Horn will chirp once to indicate autolock has been disabled. If horn sounds one short chirp followed by a second longer chirp, autolock has been enabled. Turn ignition OFF to exit enable/disable mode.
