Warning Indicators

Each time the key is turned from OFF to ON, the charging system, oil pressure and the check engine indicators will prove out and remain on until the engine is started. The air bag indicator will prove out for approximately five seconds while the following instrument cluster warning indicators will prove out for approximately three seconds:
- anti-lock brake system (ABS)
- check tires
- air bag
- charge indicator
- check engine indicator
- oil pressure
- low fuel warning
- BRAKE
- safety belt
- TRAC OFF (if equipped)
- TRAC ACTIVE (if equipped)
- THEFT
- check fuel cap
- low washer fluid level indicator (base cluster only)
