On diesel engines, a mechanical compression testing procedure is not available from manufacturer.
To diagnose possible cylinder compression loss, perform CRANKCASE PRESSURE TEST under ENGINE PERFORMANCE DIAGNOSIS in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTS - EEC-V - DIESEL article and/or KOER CYLINDER CONTRIBUTION SELF-TEST under QUICK TEST in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - EEC-V - DIESEL article.
