Symptom Tests: Notes
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected or modules are replaced, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See appropriate COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
Before beginning system tests, perform TROUBLE SHOOTING .
A Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) is required to test the power mirror system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS for terminal identification. After repairs are complete, ensure all components are properly installed and all harness connectors are connected properly and retest system.
