Engine Code Location
Engine code information label is located on engine. See Fig 1 . On most engines, engine code information label is located on valve cover. Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label is located on bottom side of hood, or in engine compartment on fan shroud or core support. PCM calibration code label located on driver's door or door post pillar as well as engine, also identifies engine code number and revision number. Engine code and calibration number may be needed when ordering parts.
