(1) Applies to vehicles used for towing a trailer, using a camper, or car-top carrier, operated in dusty conditions, off-road operation or with extensive idling and/or low-speed driving for long distances. As in heavy commercial use such as delivery, taxi, patrol car or livery.
(2) On Villager, replace every 60,000 miles. On all other vehicles, replace at 150,000 miles if not replaced within last 100,000 miles.
(3) If vehicle is driven in dusty conditions or used under special operating conditions, inspect and replace as required.
(4) Applies to Blackwood and Navigator only (if equipped).
(5) Green engine coolant replaced at 45,000 miles, and then every 30,000 miles thereafter. Orange engine coolant replaced at 150,000 miles.
(6) Yellow engine coolant replaced at 5 years or 100,000 miles (which ever comes first). After initial change, replace Yellow coolant every 3 years or 50,000 miles.
(7) Applies to F250-550 Pickup operated under normal conditions. Inspect and lubricate front hub needle bearings every 60,000 miles. Replace as necessary.
(8) Applies to F250-550 Pickup only. If used for towing, inspect and lubricate front hub needle bearings every 30,000 miles. If operated in off-road conditions, inspect and lubricate front hub needle bearings every 15,000 miles. Replace as necessary.
(9) Every 30,000 miles, drain coalescent fuel filter bowl and replace filter.
(10) Fuel tanks for Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV), should be inspected every 30,000 miles and should be replaced every 15 years.
(11) On light-duty Pickups under 6000 GVW, replace every 100,000 miles. On all trucks over 6000 GVW, replace every 120,000 miles.
(12) Rear axles and PTO units containing synthetic lubricant and light duty trucks with Ford-design axles, are lubricated for life. These lubricants should not be checked or changed unless a leak is suspected, service is required or axle assembly has been submerged in water.
(13) On Police or Taxi models, or F450-550 Pickup commercial vehicles, replace every 100,000 miles. If operated at or near maximum GVW, in dusty conditions or off-road, replace every 50,000 miles. On all other RWD vehicles without synthetic lubricant and operated under special conditions, replace every 3000 miles or 3 months (which ever comes first).
(14) On Villager, replace at 105,000 miles. On Escape 2.0L, replace at 120,000 miles.
(15) On vehicles equipped with 4F50N or 4R100 transmission, replace at 30,000 miles. On all other vehicles, replace A/T fluid at 150,000 miles.
(16) Replace air filter when restriction gauge is in Red zone.
