Removal And Installation

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the dual converter Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUBSYSTEMS .
  3. Remove the heat shield.

  4. Disconnect the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor connector.

  5. Remove the OSS Sensor cover.
    1. Remove the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Remove the cover.

  6. Remove the OSS sensor.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
