Engine Code Location

Engine code information label is located on engine. See Fig 1. On most engines, engine code information label is located on valve cover or engine itself. On some engines, exact location of engine code information label is not available. Emission calibration number label located on driver's door or door post pillar, as well as engine, also identifies engine code number and revision number. Engine code and calibration number may be needed when ordering parts.
