Generic Electronic Module: Notes

CAUTION: Disconnect battery before disconnecting GEM connectors. Failure to do so will result in GEM storing erroneous codes and may also result in erratic operation after connection of GEM.

CAUTION: If replacing GEM, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to New Generation STAR (NGS) tester. After installation, this information needs to be downloaded into new GEM module.
