Acceleration Control

The accelerator control system consists of an accelerator pedal and an accelerator cable. The driver controls throttle demand by using the pedal mounted in the passenger compartment, which is connected to the throttle body by the cable. Pedal return is achieved by the use of a throttle return spring.
