Door Lock/Unlock Relay
- Remove door lock/unlock relay. Door lock/unlock relay is located behind passenger's kick panel. Measure resistance between door lock/unlock relay (component side) terminal No. 5, and terminals No. 2, 4, 7 and 9. See Fig 1 . All resistances should be 150-185 ohms. If resistances are as specified, go to next step. If resistances are not as specified, replace door lock/unlock relay.
- Measure resistance between door lock/unlock relay (component side) terminal No. 6 and terminals No. 3, 8 and 12. All resistances should be less than 5 ohms. If resistances are as specified, go to next step. If resistances are not as specified, replace door lock/unlock relay.
- Apply battery voltage to specified door lock/unlock relay (component side) terminal and ground specified door lock/unlock relay (component side) terminal. See DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK RELAY TEST TERMINAL
table. Voltage in all test circuits should be more than 10 volts. If voltage is not as specified, replace door lock/unlock relay. If all voltages are as specified, relay is functioning properly.TESTING DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK RELAY TEST
