NOTE:
Procedures included in this article are written specifically for New Generation Star (NGS) tester. Other OBD II-compatible scan tools may be used, but may not be equipped with equal capabilities. Refer to scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
NOTE:
When performing data link diagnostic test, NGS tester may display circuits No. 131 and 132 as circuits No. 914 and 915. NGS tester may also display circuit No. 529 as circuit No. 70. Circuit No. 131 is White/Blue wire connected to Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 2. See Figure
. Circuit No. 132 is Black/Blue wire connected to DLC terminal No. 10. Circuit No. 529 is Orange wire on Escort or Orange/Blue wire on ZX2 and is connected to DLC terminal No. 7. Circuit No. 529 connects DLC with all optional modules.
