Latch-Rear Seat, 60/40 Split: Removal

  1. Remove the rear seat back; refer to SEAT BACKREST-REAR, 60/40 SPLIT .
  2. Place the seat on a clean workbench.
  3. Unhook the retainer.

  4. Invert the rear seat trim up to the hog rings.

  5. Remove the hog rings.

  6. If equipped with the release knobs, separate the seat back latch from the seat back release knob.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Separate the seat back latch from the seat back release knob.

  7. If equipped with pull straps, remove the seat back latch.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the seat back latch.
