Hydraulic Control Unit: Removal

  1. Remove the battery tray; refer to BATTERY TRAY .
  2. Disconnect the two hydraulic control unit (HCU) electrical connectors.
    3. NOTE: Plug each port to prevent brake fluid from spilling.

  3. Disconnect the six hydraulic brake lines.
  4. Remove the HCU.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the HCU.
