In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission/transaxle. For additional information, refer to DISC AND PRESSURE PLATE .
  2. Install the (1) Flywheel Holding Tool and remove the (2) bolts (6379).

  3. Remove the flexplate (6375).
    • Inspect the flexplate for cracks, or other damage. Install a new flexplate if necessary.
