Rocker Arm: Installation

    NOTE: Lubricate the rocker arms and pivots with clean engine oil.
  1. Install the rocker arms.
    • Position the rocker arms and pivots.
    • Hand start the bolts.
    • Tighten the bolts in 2 stages.
      • Stage 1: Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
      • Stage 2: Tighten to 32 Nm (24 lb-ft).
  2. Install the valve cover. For additional information, refer to VALVE COVER LH  OR VALVE COVER RH .
