Digital Transmission Range (TR) Sensor: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Place the transaxle range selector in NEUTRAL.

  3. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the breather tubes.

  4. Remove the engine air cleaner lid.

  5. Remove the air filter assembly.

  6. Disconnect the digital transmission range (TR) sensor electrical connector.

  7. Remove the manual control lever and cable.
    • Remove the nut.
    • Remove the manual control lever and cable.

  8. Remove the 2 bolts and the digital TR sensor.
