| B1317 | Battery Voltage High | CHECK the battery and charging system for faults. REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test. |
| B1318 | Battery Voltage Low | CHECK the battery and charging system for faults. REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test. |
| B1342 | ECU is Defective | CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved, INSTALL a 4X4 control module. REFER to4X4 Control Module . REPEAT the self-test. |
| B1555 | Ignition Run/Start Circuit Failure | The ignition switch must be in the RUN position before carrying out the self test. If this DTC is retrieved and the ignition was in run before the self test was initiated, CHECK SJB mini fuse 35 (10A). INSTALL a new fuse as necessary. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self test. If the fuse is okay, CHECK 4X4 control module C281a-8, circuit CBP35 (YE/GN) for an open. REPAIR as necessary. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self test. |
