Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation
- Install the PCM and connect the electrical connectors.
- Position the GEM module and install the 2 nuts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Install the passenger side lower footwell trim panel.
- Install the glove compartment.
- Install the cowl side trim panel.
- Install the instrument panel side trim.
- Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Programmable Module Installation procedure. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
- Reprogram the passive anti-theft system (PATS). Carry out the Key Programming Using Two Programmed Keys procedure. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT - PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) article.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the PCM electrical connectors do not unlock when installing the GEM module.
