If okay, CHECK the UBP bus for communication. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If the DSM and UBP bus communication is OK, CONFIGURE the DSM and RETEST. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION article. If the DSM will not configure correctly or the DTC returns, INSTALL a new DSM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article. |

If okay, CHECK the UBP bus for communication. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If the DSM and UBP bus communication is OK, CONFIGURE the DSM and RETEST. | U2471 | Unexpected PRNDL State | DSM | CHECK the PRNDL for PARK position. If okay, CHECK the DSM transmission switch input status PID value for PARK/NEUTRAL. If the PID value is incorrect, CHECK circuit 1434 (LB/PK) for a fault between DSM C341d-17 and SJB C2280d-19. CHECK for SJB DTC B2066 or B2067. If present, REFER to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION article. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the selt-test. If PID value is correct, CHECK the DSM configuration and CONFIGURE, if necessary and RETEST. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION article. If configured correctly and the DTC remains, INSTALL a new DSM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the selt-test. |
