Condition Possible Sources Action
  • Emergency locking retractor (ELR) mode - occupant restraint system is inoperative
  • Front safety belt retractor and tongue
  • Rear safety belt retractor and tongue
  • CARRY OUT the necessary Functional Tests in COMPONENT TEST . INSTALL a new safety belt retractor, if necessary.
  • Automatic locking retractor (ALR) mode - occupant restraint system is inoperative
  • Front outboard passenger safety belt retractor and tongue
  • Rear safety belt retractor and tongue
  • CARRY OUT the necessary Functional Tests in COMPONENT TEST . INSTALL a new safety belt retractor, if necessary.
  • Excessive pressure on the occupant during normal wear, the webbing cannot be extracted, excessive slack in webbing does not retract
  • Front safety belt retractor and tongue
  • Rear safety belt retractor and tongue
  • CARRY OUT the component Functional Test in COMPONENT TEST . INSTALL a new retractor if necessary.
  • The safety belt warning indicator does not operate
