Driver Seat Module (DSM)













Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: This step is necessary only if the Driver Seat Module (DSM) is being replaced.

NOTE: Prior to the replacement of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

Upload the module configuration information from the DSM.

2. Remove the driver seat.

3. If equipped, position the heated seat module aside.

4. Disconnect the 4 DSM electrical connectors.

5. Using a drill, remove the 2 rivets and the DSM.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Using the heavy-duty riveter, install the 2 rivets.
