Stepped Unlock Programming

Programming the Stepped Unlock Using an Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter

1. With the ignition switch in the OFF position, press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter simultaneously for 4 seconds.
- The turn signals flash twice to indicate the mode change.


2. Repeat Step 1 to enable/disable the stepped unlocking feature.

Programming the Stepped Unlock Using the Instrument Cluster (IC) Message Center

1. With all the vehicle doors closed, turn the ignition key from the OFF to the ON position.

2. NOTE: Refer to the Owner's Literature for a complete list of the message center menus.
Access the locks menu within the setup menu in the message center.


3. Select remote unlock and use the left and right arrows to select all doors or drivers door first.
