ABS MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC Description Action
B1342
NOTE: An intermittent loss of power or ground can cause this DTC to set.
ECU  is Faulted
NOTE: If other DTCs are present, REPAIR them before installing a new component.
INSPECT ABS module C135 for corrosion, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary. VERIFY that C135 is seated correctly. INSPECT the eyelet and stud of ground G104. REPAIR as necessary. CLEAR the DTCs. Carry out the ABS module self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE in this information. REPEAT the self-test.
B1483 Brake Pedal Input Circuit Failure Go to PINPOINT TEST A .
B1676 Battery Pack Voltage Out of Range Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
B2477 Module Configuration Failure CONFIGURE the ABS module. REFER to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B2477 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE in this information. REPEAT the self-test.

C1095 ABS Hydraulic Pump Motor Circuit Failure Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
C109D Low Vacuum Condition Go to PINPOINT TEST H .

C1145 Wheel Speed Sensor RF Input Circuit Failure Go to PINPOINT TEST D .

C1280 Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Fault This DTC indicates a concern with the yaw rate sensor which is integral to the Restraints Control Module (RCM). REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM to diagnose all the RCM  DTCs.
C1282 Lateral Accelerometer Signal Fault This DTC indicates a concern with the yaw rate sensor which is integral to the Restraints Control Module (RCM). REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM to diagnose all the RCM  DTCs.
C1288 Pressure Sensor Main/Primary Input Circuit Failure Go to PINPOINT TEST R .
C1440 Pressure Sensor Main/Primary Signal Faulted CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC C1440 is present, MAKE SURE all HCU  and ABS module fasteners are tightened to their correct torque specification. If all fasteners are tightened to their correct torque specification, INSTALL a new HCU  . REFER to HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) in this information.
C1470 TCS Function Disabled (brake fluid temperature is above a pre-set limit) ALLOW the brake fluid time to cool. CLEAR the DTC. TEST DRIVE the vehicle and VERIFY ABS operation.
C1516 Roll Rate Sensor Signal Fault This DTC indicates a concern with the yaw rate sensor which is integral to the Restraints Control Module (RCM). REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM to diagnose all the RCM  DTCs.
C1805 Mismatched PCM and/or ABS-TC Module CHECK for correct PCM and ABS module configuration using the scan tool. CONFIGURE the component as necessary. REFER to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
C1963 Stability Assist Inhibit Warning
NOTE: This DTC does not clear until the vehicle has been driven above 48 km/h (30 mph) with input from the steering wheel rotation sensor.
Go to PINPOINT TEST F .
C1991 Module Calibration Failure Carry out the IVD Initialization sequence. FOLLOW the scan tool directions. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC C1991 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE in this information.
C1996 Active Yaw and/or Roll Control Disabled Go to PINPOINT TEST I .
C2770 Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Plausibility Failure This DTC indicates a concern with the longitudinal accelerometer which is integral to the Restraints Control Module (RCM). REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM to diagnose all the RCM  DTCs.
U0001 High Speed CAN  Bus REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK , to diagnose the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).
U0100 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM Go to PINPOINT TEST J .
U0101 Lost Communication With TCM Go to PINPOINT TEST K .
U0114 Lost Communication With Four-Wheel Drive Clutch Control Module Go to PINPOINT TEST L .
U0140 Lost Communication With Body Control Module Go to PINPOINT TEST M .
U0151 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module Go to PINPOINT TEST N .
U0155 Lost Communication With Instrument Cluster Go to PINPOINT TEST O .
U0401 Invalid Data Received From ECM  /PCM If other DTCs are present along with U0401, REPAIR those DTCs first. If U0401 is the only DTC present, carry out the PCM self-test. RETRIEVE and RECORD any DTCs. REFER to the INTRODUCTION to diagnose the PCM.
U0402 Invalid Data Received From Transmission Control Module If other DTCs are present along with U0402, REPAIR those DTCs first. If U0402 is the only DTC present, carry out the transmission control module self-test. RETRIEVE and RECORD any DTCs. REFER to the INTRODUCTION to diagnose the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
U0414 Invalid Data Received From Four-Wheel Drive Clutch Control Module If other DTCs are present along with U0414, REPAIR those DTCs first. If U0414 is the only DTC present, carry out the Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) clutch control module self-test. RETRIEVE and RECORD any DTCs. REFER to FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) SYSTEMS to diagnose the 4WD  clutch control module.
U0452 Invalid Data Received from Restraints Control Module This DTC sets when the ABS module receives invalid network data from the RCM  . RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the RCM  . REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
U1901 CAN  Network #2 Communication Bus Fault Go to PINPOINT TEST N .
U2050 No Application Present CONFIGURE the ABS module. REFER to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTCs. RETRIEVE the DTCs and VERIFY successful module configuration. If DTC U2050 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE in this information. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
U2051 One or More Calibration Files Missing or Corrupt CLEAR the DTCs. Carry out the ABS module self-test. If DTC U2051 is retrieved again, RECONFIGURE the ABS module using as-built data. REFER to Programmable Module Installation (PMI), Using the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) When the Original Module is NOT Available in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2051 returns, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE in this information. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
