For vehicles equipped with Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC)systems, if the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) controls were not powered off, power the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) off, CLEAR the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and REPEAT the self-test. If the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) returns, REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE O .
P161A Incorrect Response from Immobilizer Control Module The Body Control Module (BCM) ID received by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not match the ID stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) memory. CARRY OUT a parameter reset. For vehicles with Intelligent Access (IA), REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET . For vehicles without Intelligent Access (IA), REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET .
P1636 Inductive Signature Chip Communication Error Install a new Powertrain Control Module (PCM). REFER to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) .
